Former pop star Boy George nipped backstage to meet new Mamma Mia! cast members Sally Ann Triplett and Niamh Perry yesterday (15 June 2009), following the new company's final dress rehearsal at the Prince of Wales theatre, where they posed for pictures with our Whatsonstage.com photographer Dan Wooller.
The new cast take over from tonight (16 June 2009), led by Whatsonstage.com Award winner Triplett, who returns to the role of Donna Sheridan, and I'd Do Anything finalist Niamh Perry as her onstage daughter Sophie Sheridan (See News, 27 May 2009).
Boy George knows a thing or two about musical theatre himself having written the music and lyrics for 2002 hit musical Taboo (in which he also starred).
Mamma Mia! musical, which recently celebrated its tenth year in the West End (See Photos, 7 Apr 2009), is currently booking at the Prince of Wales through to 27 March 2010. Other members of the cast include: Jane Gurnett (Tanya), Paul Ryan (Harry Bright), Oliver Hembrough (Sky), Jodie Read, Laura Selwood, Ben Heathcote and Sam McKay.

Well for a start GAY CITY ROLLERS the roller disco i dj at is going bi weekly from July ! YAY ! This is such a fab night. So camp and so much fun ! Try it !
We start shooting the TRANNYSHACK calendar for 2010 next week. BOY GEORGE is photographer. You will be able to preorder from the Trannyshack website soon !
This Monday 15th's KINKY KABARET has SOLD OUT . We have GO JEST , POLLY RAE and MIRANDA SINGS on. Loads more to come. Try it out. We are bringing variety back to the West End. Almost single handedly !
I am dj'ing in Leicester Square on July 4th for London Gay Pride. I am on the KU BAR STAGE and will also be introducing Boy George at 5.
We are holding a special Gay Pride Trannyshack @ ESCAPE (next to JoJo's in the evening too.
Anyone in Sitges from 22nd June to 2nd July ? I am . Message me and lets go for a drink . LOL.
Rose Garden is guest hosting Trannyshack while i am away. Lloyd and tasty will be covering my dj sets.
